Training and Mentoring
When Trevor first took me under his wing, I was head of Legal Recruitment at ITHR. I was working with three junior consultants and starting to build a permanent recruitment desk. We had put in long hours and hard work, but our billings did not reflect this. It was under Trevor's tutelage, that our business began to flourish. Trevor fine-tuned our team by spending time with each of us individually, to identify our challenges, tap into our strengths and improve our performance.
The 1-2-1 session were a reinforcement of Trevor's illuminating training program. Each session was crafted around a key component of our recruitment process and tailored to the permanent legal recruitment market. In response to this combination of training and coaching, our team noted improvements across every stage of our recruitment process. We developed a headhunting strategy which generated a pipeline of high-calibre, passive talent. Our BD efforts became more targeted and yielded a client base comprising some of the largest law firms in the world. We tightened up our process management to achieve a better CV:Interview and Interview:Placement ratio.
Trevor helped to transform our start-up legal recruitment desk into a highly profitable division. My personal billings skyrocketed - placing me as the number one biller for the entire agency and it was under Trevor’s mentorship that I was nominated for and won the Permanent Recruitment Consultant of the Year Award (2014).
I have found Trevor to be an exceptional recruiter, manager and trainer. He has an undeniable knack for harnessing raw talent and motivating success. He has helped me to get organised, implement a system of success, develop my confidence as a recruiter and make more placements.
